But, here's a little shape shifting slime fren.

Description for character made for me-
This little blob of goop can change their shape into pretty much any inanimate object. Unfortunately, they get a little stuck when trying to do living people or plants. They've managed to perfect the adorableness of a kitten's triangle tail, though.
They're able to absorb objects and creatures into their body through their outer layer and can trap them in a stasis field inside, so they'll never age or even change beyond how they went in, unless our little slime friend here starts eating them. Living creatures sometimes still suffer the effects of lack of oxygen once they're released.
Their eyes and mouth 'float' inside them as they don't really need them to see or eat. They've just found people like them better with them. The one true way to tell their level of emotion is to look at how much of them has been 'squidged' down. Bigger the squidge, stronger the emotion.
They love to hoard objects and items and get really stubborn about letting them go, especially when they fear someone might take the item for themselves. They can express themselves in short and simple words and phrases but struggle with more complex language due to the fact that they're a slime. A kind of magical-ish slime but still, a slime. They can fully understand what's being said, they just can't reply properly.
They would absolutely steal you hat.
Inspiration for your character-
Species wise, I really am not fussy. All creatures are amazing, even mythical creatures or mixes between other species. Colour and pattern wise, I'm a big fan of light blues, purples, greens and anything in between as well as the natural colours found on animals which kind of includes everything if you count birbs. Natural patterns and colours are cool but not necessary.
Ear tips, feet, tail tips, etc. being a different colour (eg, white) from the rest of the body is absolutely adorable and i love it.
