Basically: short munchkin cats with big ears, big paws, and lil koi whiskers
Magical pets and little troublemakers from one of my character world's continents
They love pestering people and are kinda similar in behavior to a raccoon; and are somewhere between the size of a housecat and larger cat (perhaps ocelot-esque size?)
Tokens:
Tokens are earned in contests/given to forms that were close seconds or didnt receive a runner up/winning form (Similar to an honorable mention). They can also be earned during events or special adopts.
They can be used at the MYO/item shop
Edits:
Rarity is determined by the AMOUNT of edits that a cat has.
Standard = No edits
Common = 1-2 edits
Uncommon = 3-5 edits
Rare = 6-10 edits
Legendary = 11+ or restricted edits
Do NOT count as edits and don't contribute to rarity:
May be used/considered an edit:
*Minor growths must cover less than 20% of the creature.
Legendary/restricted edits:
(Reserved for special occasions.)

Mage cats are small critters from a magical world. They live on the continent of Ipus. They are small cat-like creatures that are around the size of an ocelot, with large ears, short legs, and large paws. Though friendly, and primarily fish-eating, they are mischievous and often can be found pulling pranks and causing trouble for others. They earned their names as "mage cats" in jest, as they often like to hover around magicians of the world trying to pick up magical spells in order to cause even more trouble.

Species rules/Terms of service
-they are free- you may not sell them. Gifting and readopting is allowed. Trading for other mage cats is allowed
-Paid MYOS may be traded/sold, but ONLY if they were paid for
-They are closed-dont make them without permission. i dont care if things look similar, thats whatever, just dont claim its part of this species if its not; im not going to nitpick or anything crazy like that; they're pretty generic for ease of drawing purposes
-you can have as many as you want
-You may not co-own them.
-no stealing/claiming to own ones that you dont.
-No drama, being rude, or hateful to community or staff
-Dont whine if you dont win- theres always next time.
-Dont change an adopted design without permission (accessories/scars dont need permission to be added)
-You are welcome to use them in any AU you please. They are not required to stay in the canon universe. Any gender/sexuality/ect is perfectly fine.
-breeding only permitted through the official nursery, don't breed your own
-may be removed from species with my permission + permission of the artist if its not me
-I will never revoke a design if you are banned from the species; unless the designs are stolen/scammed in the first place and under extreme circumstances. If you are banned, you will be asked to make new references/take your characters off species and do not use their official artwork.
