Welcome to pegasi of the pasture, a fantasy horse based arpg. This is highly focused around character and world building. There is a full story this arpg will have, and yes that eventually means it will come to an end... at least for this generation of horses. We strive to be an open, welcoming community so that anyone and everyone can feel comfortable and happy here.
Have fun, and may the gods bring your herd to victory...

Rules and Guidelines:
- Please be kind and courteous to all.
- Negativity, harassment, etc will not be tolerated.
- Art and writing used for pftp must adhere to cs' child friendly rules.
- Credit the artist for the design of your horse.
- Not all designs have to be realistic in aspect of markings and colors.
- As of the starting of this species/arpg, you can only have one herd.
As the community grows, eventually you will be allowed two.
- Your herd may only contain horses owned by you, not anyone else's
horses. You can have someone else's herd be a neighboring herd and
may interact with the other herd, but horses you do not own cannot
be part of your herd.
- Please maintain a thread/website for your herd. Please also put
'pegasi of the pasture' somewhere so staff knows that the thread/
website is for these adopts specifically.
- If you are banned from CS/PotP, your horses could be rehomed
depending on the severity of the case.
- Please do not repost founder/leader forms.
- You can only redeem your founder once.
- Trading of your horses for someone else's horse is allowed. You
have two trades a month.
- Horses can become deceased during events - be aware of this
now.
Staff Rules:
- You are NOT, in any way shape or form, above the general rules,
nor are you above these ones.
- Biased? Fired. Simple as that. I'm using bias as a general/umbrella
term here. Don't be mean to a user that you've had issues with in the
past. Don't choose your friend to win a competition, everyone gets a
fair chance.
- Please try and reply to a user who has PMd you regarding species
stuff within 72 hours.

ARPG Guide - Part One: About the ARPG
These adoptables are going to be run like an ARPG. Everyone gets a free starter horse that will be considered the leader of their herd. You can either get your Herd Leader through main adopts or through posting a form that will be listed later on.
ARPG Guide - Part Two: Demeanor of the leader effects your whole herd and other things about demeanor
For starters, what is a horses demeanor? If you take a look at the oekaki, you will see a bar that has angel wings and demon wings. The more good a horse is or the more good deeds it does, it can have an angelic demeanor and have feathered wings and a long, sharp unicorn horn on its head. The more evil a horse is or the more evil deeds it does, it will have demon wings, and two short stubby horns on its forehead.
Demeanor of your leading horse can affect the entire herd. Your evil horse does an evil deed. Chances are, your herd are going to follow in their hoofprints and do evil deeds. However, demeanor can change in a horse. After an evil horse has done three good deeds, it will now be an angelic horse and its wings and horns will change. The same goes for good horses. Three evil deeds and they fall to the evil side and lose there feathers and horn. Every horse will have a preset of both wings and horns. Both forms (good and evil) will be posted on a horses thread.
Sometimes, a horse's demeanor can be right in the middle. What does this mean for the horse? It can display either form right? Wrong. It displays both forms at once, so instead of one pair of wings, it will have both feathered and bat wings, and display the good and evil horns. This is very rare, however. It is possible to have this type of horse as a herd leader, however this horse's demeanor is unchangeable.
It is also possible to have horses of both demeanor's in your herd. For example, your leader is an Evil horse. You have three other evil horses in your herd and two angelic horses.
Depending on how many of each alignment, your herd can have an average demeanor. Let's take the previously mentioned herd as our example. That herd has 4 evil, and two angelic. Primarily there are evil horses, thus the average demeanor of this herd is evil. Because of this, the two good horses in the herd are more likely to turn evil over time.
It is absolutely possible to keep your herd balanced, however. For example you have three evil and three good. Your average demeanor would be listed as "Balanced".
---
Getting started - Step one:
To get started, you must have a leading horse, the head honcho of your herd. You can either wait to win one from an adopt competition, or order a free semi-custom. Please post these forms on the thread!
Base coats you can request: Bay, buckskin, gray, palomino, black, chestnut, painted, dapple grey, seal brown, blue roan
- Code: Select all
Leader Horse Form
username:
Horse's gender:
Base coat:
Markings: (You may have up to 4. Examples of these include but are not limited to: a star on the forehead, a sock on the back right leg, etc).
Eye color: (This can be any custom color).
Demeanor: (Good or evil only).

Getting started - Step two:
You've got your leader/founder horse? Awesome! The next thing to do is create your herd thread. This is where you will store your horses and other information. You can set this up any way you choose.
Getting started - Step three:
Now that your thread is set up, you can start leveling up your herd. This is important when events occur that have fights or other events. (And during events is when your horses can do things that change their alignment). But this is where everything gets fun!
Everyone starts at level 1.
At level one, your herd member limit is 5 horses: A leader and 4 members.
Every time you level up, your limit increases by 2 horses. Level two your max is 7 horses, level 3 you can have 9, etc.
Other level info:
At level 3 you may have a second in command/deputy.
The max level your herd can be is 15.
Leveling up is easy, and you can do that here. (Thread will be linked). There are many tasks you can complete and they get more difficult per level.
