lemonstar is usually a kind and gentle molly. however, she can be pretty sharp; as her name (lemon) suggests. she is willing to let you try again, but be warned: if you fail her a second time - you could face some strong claws. she tries to be a fair leader and to see the best in everyone. for the past few moons thicketclan returned to shambles after both their medicine cat, leader, and deputy died of a mysterious sickness that plagued the clan for a moon before disappearing suddenly and lemonstar found herself forced into the role of leader by the sky of endless peace. she lives in constant terror of the sickness returning and claiming more lives; but has managed to drag thicketclan into a clan again. this calico molly is an anxiety-ridden cat, getting severely worried at any sign of illness.

lemonstar was born in thicketclan to a kind pair of cats, morningblossom and vinepatch. she and her only surviving sibling, honeykit, had a healthy and uneventful kithood playing in the camp. this was likely because morningblossom was distraught over the loss of her other kit, seedkit, and protected the other two a little too much. their father vinepatch was often caught up in his duties as a senior warrior, but lemonstar always felt particularly close to him thanks to his support of the young calico's ambitions.
as an apprentice, lemonstar struggled to perform to her expectations. she'd wanted to be good at everything immediately but instead found it a struggle just to catch a mouse. however, she excelled in swimming and passed her assesment without a hitch, gaining the warrior name lemonice alongside the newly-named honeyflame.
lemonice was an average warrior, growing closer to her sister as her father passed away from battle wounds. she and honeyflame lived happily for the majority of her life, until the sickness hit them. thicketclan was ravaged by it. it tore through their camp, snatching lives left and right, and even took lemonice's mother morningblossom. but that wasn't the worst of it. when thicketclan was just beginning to pull itself together again, the sickness claimed two more lives. emberstar's ninth life and honeyflame's. lemonice was distraught - yet the sky of endless peace chose her for leader.
she's staggering through the beginning stages of recarving thicketclan's legacy, but so far is doing well despite her grief.
