“What is a Codamink?”
A Codamink is a creature about the size of a small housecat. They’re in the family mustelidae, the family that ferrets, minks, and weasels are classified under. They’re extremely clever and intelligent, and are known for their diverse personalities. Codaminks are omnivorous creatures, eating things like rabbits, mice, chipmunks, fish, snakes, frogs and birds, as well as fruits and nuts. Their paws have amazing traction, that they use to climb trees and mountains, as they live in forested areas, which often have peaks and mountains. They’re primarily diurnal, however they’re often about during the night hours. Codaminks, unlike the rest of the members of the Mustelidae family, tend to travel in small groups, and form strong bonds with both other members of their species as well as other species. Codaminks were only recently discovered, as they tend to stay away from humans, and their numbers are few. However, as their populations grow, scientists continue to learn more about them daily, and they’re begun to allow adoption of Codaminks in order to learn more about their behavior.

Traits
Codaminks aren’t very prone to mutations or diversity, however they will occasionally have some mutant traits occur.
standard: (unedited) short legs, thick fluffy tails, fluffy chests and necks, large ears
common: fur edits (and hair edits), heterochromia, tooth edits, claw edits, sclera color
uncommon: (every 15 or so adopts, very infrequent) tail edits, ear edits
rare:(every 50 adopts)missing limbs, glow, longer or shorter legs, missing eyes, extra or missing toes, wings
note: codaminks tend to come in more muted colors, like greys browns creams etc, however brighter colors do occur, just not as frequently!

↠you can own as many Codaminks as you want!
↠you cannot change your Codamink’s design or lines without permission, but you may change the expression or add accessories!
↠Codaminks are a closed species, so you may not make your
own!
↠You may not transfer a Codamink’s design onto another species without permission (just pm me!)
↠ You may trade or gift your Codamink
↠ You may not trade your Codaminks for other species, and you may not sell your Codamink unless they were bought, and then you may only sell them for the same price! If they have art pieces you paid for however, you may raise that price.
↠ you must mark the main thread (here) before trying out for any adopts. Thank you!

After one month of work, you receive an one common and unlimited under custom, three months unlimited common and under, and after six months, a unlimited uncommon traits and under. After that, every ten months, you’ll receive a one rare and under custom. Your customs may be combined to make higher tier ones, with my permission!
