*Note: You do not have to own any Longnecks to become an artist, or be active in the community. It is just to give me a sense of how familiar you currently are with the species
Expectations wrote:As an artist with our species, we expect you to be active. This can mean any of the following things:
- posts multiple times a week
- posts once a week
- posts once every two weeks
If you repeatedly fail to post at least once every three weeks (without some sort of notice that you will not be present for that time), you run the risk of having your position taken.
You are not required to be active in our fan club, however, we would really love if you posted ever so often!
You should not only make Rare and above Longnecks for normal adopts. In fact, we encourage you to primarily produce common and uncommon Longnecks on the main adopts thread.
You are not required to take on customs or nursery batches as an artist, however it is greatly appreciated and encouraged
You are allowed to make staff customs! You may make one staff custom of any rarity every fifteen adopts. Now, we all have those times where we are making an adopt we simply can't part with and decide to keep it even if we haven't reached fifteen adopts yet, if you do so just wait a little longer before making another staff custom. There is no punishment for that, unless you begin to keep every adopt you make.
You are allowed and encouraged to award Scooter's Stones to Runner-Up's.
You are allowed and encouraged to award a new Longneck Adopt to Runner-Up's.
You are allowed to host auctions, however if done we encourage you to do it in Scooter's Stones. We want everyone to have a fair chance at winning all Longnecks. For that reason, we highly suggest all adoptions be some sort of comp or raffle. If not though, the above suggestion works just fine.
