Why you want to be a Guest Artist: I love the Warriors series, and I want to practice cat designs. Doing designs one at a time means that I'm less likely to lose motivation part way through (which is something I struggle with a lot). Also, I've been more interested in making free characters lately, and this seemed like a good opportunity to do so.

In the warriors series, can Medicine cats hunt? (DONT LOOK IT UP): Well... There's not really a rule saying that they can't. Logically, it would make sense for medicine cats to be allowed to hunt, especially if the Clan were short on cats who are able to hunt. Some medicine cats physically could/can not hunt. Cinderpelt's bad leg would have prevented her from hunting. Jayfeather is blind, so he can't hunt. Alderpaw/Alder-whatever-his-full-medicine-cat-name-is (Pelt? Fur? I can't remember. He's not memorable enough.) can't hunt because he's just... a really bad hunter. However, there are definitely medicine cats out there who could physically hunt. Yellowfang, when she was younger, would have known how to and have been able to hunt. She was trained originally as a warrior, after all.

In summary of this, I don't know if they are allowed to hunt, but they logically should be. Some of them physically cannot hunt, while others should have been perfectly fit and able to.

My guess is that the point of this question is to test if I've read the series or not. If the above answer isn't sufficient, I'd be happy to answer a different question. I've read and love the series, and I know quite a bit of random trivia, but this question isn't something I can recall coming up in the books.

Extra: Would it be alright if I kept this entry cat as a character? (Preferably a character that isn't attached to this adoption center, as that feels like cheating. Also, I need more cats for another Clan I've started.)
