WHAT IS A CREAVE?
Creaves (Auritae creavus) are creatures of the Accipitridae family, with an
average height of 1 meter and average wingspan of 2 meters. Creaves are oviparous
and leave their nests at 2 months old. Creaves usually mate for life, but occasionally
will split to find another mate. Their diet consists mainly of small rodents such as
mice and rabbits, but will sometimes eat berries if food is scarce.
Creaves are known for their ear-like appendages upon their heads, which act as status
symbols in their social hierarchy. (i.e. bigger ‘ears’ for creaves of higher status)
they are also known for the metallic rings that adorn their necks, which mainly exist
for identification. These “rings” can be in any shape, colour or size, and are usually
compared to ‘collars’ on domesticated animals.
Creaves are primarily diurnal and live in a family unit of them and their mate, and
tend to stay in taiga forests of colder climates.
Due to human interference, some creaves have developed harmless mutations
that vary greatly. (i.e. longer feathers, horns, extra ears, etc.)
Some Creaves develop extremely rare traits such as gemstone growth or extra
wings.
