A small pink-and-purple creature with a very long tail and fluffy ears comes towards you as you walk through a high-tech laboratary.
It sniffs you affectionately and then runs to it's owner. "Hi, I'm Cleo (cleo_starry). I see you have entered the scarfylab to attempt adoption. These creatures are a genetic mix between lynxes and wolves, some are domestic yet some are more wild and need taming. This cute little girl is called Wafer" she looks down at the little pink scarfytail and smiles, "and this is scarfy, the first one, who we named our species after." she opens a small crate and a blue-and-white scarfytail with seemingly blind eyes runs out, trembling. "young scarfytails are called kits by the way!"
