- You may make up to four entries. Three of these will be chosen by you from the hybrid options below, the fourth will be custom made by you
- Do not copy any designs from anyone/any where
- The winners will be chosen base on the quality and quantity of entries
- These lines should not be used for anything other than this competition!
How to enter- Make a cover!
- Fill out the form below!
- Pick three hybrid options from below and create one of your own options
- Begin posting entries!
--The page has two bases on one sheet (a triceratops-like herbivore, and an allosaurus). You can choose to either keep that format and post two hybrids at once, or you can adjust it accordingly and post one at a time.
What I am looking forCreativity, Quality, and Logic!
I am looking for someone who can turn 2-4 creatures into a unique hybrid which shows elements from all its origins without having anything which does not make sense or is missing.

Class C
Suchomimas - Euoplocephalus - Badger - Hyena
Stegosaurus - Carnotaurus - Lemur - Mustang
Custom Choice
Here, you can chose any known dinosaur (up to two) and any modern animal (up to two) to create a hybrid! There is one limitation, however!
Aquatic dinosaurs/modern animals cannot be combined with strictly land dinosaurs/modern animals (ie; mosasaurus cannot be mixed with allosaurus or a badger; a dolphin cannot be mixed with a utahraptor). They can, however, be combined with amphibious creatures (ie; kronosaurus and nundasuchus, or mosasaurus and a salamander)
End Date: Undecided (will end when Vita Nova is set up!)
Some Tips! The hybrids I make are more about percentages. For example, the first dinosaur listed in the hybrid description is the one with the highest percentage in the hybrid, so the hybrid resembles it the most.
When it comes to combining multiples of one category (ie: two dinos and one modern, or one dino two modern, etc.) I like to look for the similarities and what "outmatches" what. For example, choosing a raptor type and combining it with a dog and wild dog would make it a quadruped, or both biped and quadruped. However, combining a raptor with a dog and snake would leave it as biped only. Then, combining a raptor with an iguana would leave it as a carnivore, but combining a raptor with an iguana and rabbit would make it an omnivore.
Lastly, there are special traits animals have which people may want their dinosaur to get (ie; the I-Rex's ability to cloak, camouflage, etc) however, these traits are not easily earned here. If someone wants a dinosaur which can track heat signatures, they would have to use a dino with strong senses and predatory instinct (lets say the raptors again), and combine it with at least two animals with this ability for even a 10% chance at it.
Just imagine it like putting together a puzzle, and remember that the dinosaurs are always the #1 part of the hybrid. The animals spliced into them only alter their appearance slightly, but do not completely determine it. A raptor mixed with a dog cannot be quadruped only or biped/quadruped, but must be biped.
