WIP! For my entry, I took the features of a wolf and merged them with the general body shape of an elk. I might still tweak the base a bit, but for now this is the basic idea

I am worried that this does look a lot like my species... As i have a deertail option as well... Sorry ;-;

Apologies, would them tweeking a set of paws to hooves make it better? Trying to find ways they don’t have to completely start all over, given the time they’ve taken. ^-^;

I did not realize yours had a bobbed tail, Joker, apologies. I'd really only taken a quick glance at the Doewolves and focused more on having this stand out from the other entries. I do think the body shape is significantly different, however, since it's really only the wolf head having antlers that reminds me of yours - and the elkness in this would be more far apparent if I had gotten to shading since the muscle structure is not the same as a wolf.

I'm reluctant to just scrap this as I am rather fond of it. Since the competition has been changed, I can go outside the former guidelines and add to this what I wish - I'll give it a more mystical appearance and crop the tail even shorter. Would that ease your concerns?

If you could also change the paws into hooves then along with the suggusted changes i would be happy. I'm try for the whole ordeal its just that I'm fond of the species!

Mmm I don't think hooves will fit with the aesthetic I'm focused on now, but I think what I have in mind will be more than enough - the changes are more elaborate than what my sentences suggest ^^'
