Finally, this time has come! I have decided to open my doors and allow people try out to be artists for the species! I'm hoping to make the Poncho Pal Family even larger!
General Rules
To become a full Guest Artist you must have a discord.
Trial artists do not have to have a discord.
Designs made in this /can/ be converted to MYOs.
They can be gifted to other users for MYO designs /if/ they qualify as a proper design.
They cannot be sold ever.
They cannot be made into adopts unless you become a Guest Artist.
Both positions are only for main adopts / event adopts; they are not for nursery or custom adopts.
As a warning:
There is no base. This is /all/ drawn by hand.
How To Try Out
To try out to be an artist, simply click 'color me in' and get started!
It's up to you to come up with interesting designs for the species.
I need to see at least three Poncho Pals to determine if you'll be good for the species.

Tips to match the style
Use the pencil tool, full opacity, with no pen pressure. MAKE SURE TO USE PIXELS.
Official artwork has to be in pixels so make sure you get acquainted with the pixel tool.

Please make yourself familiar with all of the various rules regarding the species. There are no 'species traits', however there are accepted and not-accepted traits for a Poncho Pal.

Trial Artist vs. Guest Artist
Every artist will start out their work as a trial artist --- through hard work and showing me that they can be trusted to create quality designs, they may be asked to be a guest artist.
Trial Artist
Basic Stage
You are to make up to five but no less than three Poncho Pals within your first month of working for the species.
Each Poncho Pal can only be a freebie; raffle, form comp, etc.
You must make absolutely no money or bribes from your Poncho Pal adoptions.
After one month of service has passed and you have met your requirements, you may be asked to serve a second trial OR be invited as a guest artist.
At the end of your trial you will receive one MYO ticket OR $5 store credit.
Guest Artist
A guest artist is, by all means, a permanent artist. The term 'guest' is only used to differentiate between the guest artist and the 'official/original' artists, ReyganKiwi and NuggetSeb.
You are only required to make a minimum of one Poncho Pal a month; there is no upwards limit.
However, we highly value quality over quantity; do not make something you're not proud of and put it out there.
You are allowed to sell Poncho Pal designs with these stipulations;
--- Poncho Pals cannot be sold for more than 160 C$ / $10 / 1000 Points.
--- 40% rounded up of all profits must be given to reygankiwi.
--- Poncho Pals cannot be traded for other character designs; they are not a barganing chip.
--- Poncho Pals /can/ be sold for HM's --- however you do not earn the HM's as payment, it's merely another payment option.
--- Poncho Pals cannot be traded for Poncho Pal items such as breeding tickets, MYO, customs, etc.
--- You are only allowed to sell one Poncho Pal per four freebies you make.
--- You are not allowed to gift Poncho Pals to your friends for any reason.
A guest artist will earn rewards at the end of the month depending on their work. A staff point system is in the works.

Please limit color usage to around three. We consider Poncho Pals with more, but may be asked to change before considered as an official Poncho Pal.
