Story (unlimited words!!): Aurora loved the Northern lights so much. She ran up to the highest peak of the mountains to watch them whenever she heard word that they were going to happen. She was upset when it was time to go after the phenomenon went on. She had a thought one day "I want to see these lights all the time." There was an old folktale that a witch resided in a dark cave on the side of the farthest mountain in the valley. She set out for her adventure as morning came. Aurora met the mountain side that it is said to inhabit the witch. She scaled the mountain, and reached a ledge that was connected to a pitch black hole. As she walked in, lights flickered on and there stood a very old woman holding a beautifully whittled staff. After pleading for a solution to her problem, the witch brought up a spell that could stick the glowing lights on to anything Aurora would like. She thought about it for a second. "I don't want to carry around some object all the time, even if they held the most beautiful thing on Earth." Aurora asked the witch if it was possible to have the lights plastered on her fur. After giving it some thought, the witch decided that it was possible. She did the spell and voilà, the bright green, blue, and yellow lights shimmered on the once slick black fur that Aurora had. She looked at the lights in awe and thanked the witch for such a lovely gift and went on her way back home. (And she lived happily ever after?)

The sky above was cloudy and a dark ash grey, blocking out the distant winter sun with its giant, heavy mass. The city below was cast in a bleak, dark shadow, and Ivy was below, trudging along the hard pavement of the metropolis. Something icy and wet landed on her nose, and she gazed up, spotting gentle, white specks of snow drifting down from the air. Mystified, the red-pelted canine forgot about her troubles for a brief heartbeat. Grroo… came the noise of her stomach, demanding to be fed. Looking away from the falling frozen particles, the Irish setter wandered the streets that were slowly becoming colder and wet from the precipitation. The rest of the world seemed to have stopped in time. There were no more people walking around in their huge, thick pelts, and there was only the occasional loudcage that blasted by. Besides that, everything was frozen in time, a monochrome world of dark loneliness. The only light that the world provided was snow. It came in little flurries of wind blowing in Ivy’s face now, making her extremely long trek even harder.
