Ideas about the species;
> They were simple cloaks and shalls to protect themselves from their harshly cold climate.
> All Silkey's have long, bushy tails to also keep them warm. Very rarely will they be born with tails shorter than their bodies.
> Puff up like birds and trap air in their fur to keep warm.
> Silkey's with bright eyes and variously colored eye-rings make a more attractive mate.
> Their strange eye rings help them see when the world is dark as their freezing habitat frequently goes dark for a few months out of a year.
> Can uncommonly have the "southern" varaiaty with extreamly short, wiery fur but this tends to leave them cold and so they wear more to protect themselves.
> Only have one season for breeding (spring, summer, fall, or winter) but have multiple young at a time (anywhere between 4 and 8[?])
> Their talon-like feet are used to grab onto ice or dig for food. They are omivores.
> Can have wings - it's not uncommon. It's rare to have more than one pair of wings.
