Markings And Meanings
I will explain them in more detail in a day or two if no one figures them out.
Spade The spade is actually a "Cat 'o Nine Tails" a whip, basically made of nine whips put together. This is VERY important to the meaning of this character. It is a natural parking on her fur and is composed of different shades of grey giving it the appearance of being metallic. This represents her being the whipping girl, and how she is so luck to have gotten away. (Spade, cards, Luck, Get it?)
White Feet Representing how she was worked to the bone, (White, like bones, get it?) the white goes higher on her back legs representing her escape (she ran away)
Red Muzzle Line Representing her being tamed, forced into silence until she broke free of her muzzle and fled.
Tail Stripes As with the spade these are natural markings in varying shades of grey with the result of a metallic looking marking. This are just another way to show her past of slavery. A tail for each whip. A tail for each Scar.
White Tipped Fur This is representing her working also, the sun beating down bleached the tips of her fur
Red tipped teeth and claws I think you can figure this one out yourself. She says it is the blood of her former captures. But you can decide weather or not you believe that.
Not Shown
These are not visible in this picture
9 Scars There are 9 long scars on her left side. These are from the "Cat 'o Nine Tails" but it's a secret she doesn't share. As far as the few who have stumbled upon her company (and survived) are concerned, its better left alone. She's a danger when you try to crack her shell
Hair I just haven't put it in yet but her hair will be long black braids tipped in red tied in a bun/knot. Because apparently I cannot draw braids, this has been replaced by a large bandanna. This was a sign of her being a slave, now, it's her status symbol. She escaped.
I really like this character so I am not really sure if I should enter it but you can count her for now. If I don't win I will definitely keep her.
