I really liked the colors and design of this character, so I just had to do this!
This was mostly a means for me to test some shading techniques, but i probably won't use them again since the shading just looks wrong on this.

Glad you got to practice some techniques
Shading's always a struggle and it took me a long time to even feel comfortable shading anything (if you look at my old drawings you'll see what I mean!) It's all about practice and its awesome that you chose my character to practice with

Yeah, same thing for me. I wanted to practice with her specifically because I could practice more than just fur shading, but ultimately forgot to do some scales. However if I ever draw her again, I'll probably shade the scales too!
