The best word to describe Mishal would be just, as he has always had a strong sense of justice. The second best word would have to be passionate. Together, his just and passionate temperment has led him into many conflicts, especially to the point where authority or those of higher classes (as he comes from a low standing in society) have inflicted great punishments (including whiplashes and imprisonment) on him due to his outspokeness against their misdeeds. Still, Mishal has overcome whatever harshness he has received whilst arguing against the unfairness; his resilience and stuborness never failing him. The primary reason why Mishal has lived unwaveringly through these hardships is because he always regarded these sufferings as blessings, knowing many of the greatest leaders have faced even greater adversity. He never ceses to optimistically remind himself that any cruelities he faces are preparing him so that he can be stronger in the near future and end up living to his name - to be a light meant to expose many corruptions often hidden in the dark and to beacon those also desiring to fight for the correction of these wrongs.
