Maybe some yellow designing over the top of the purple?

Even just a lighten or darken brush, or add or subtract, in some type of marking style over top of the color wash. It doesn't need to be eye-poppingly dramatic, just a lil something. ^^

Actually you could probably pull one of the lighter colors from the palette you have and... look for images around there, find one you love and give it a suggestion of whatever that is. Circles, flowers, spots, clouds, etc. You seem to love the softer look, so look at some of cicamicu's stuff, her designs are very soft and pretty, but have elements that make them memorable and recognizable from the rest of the kalon horde. XD

You've got the hard part down, now it's just refining! I'm rooting for you. <3
