Short Story: The birds chirped loudly in Dosne's pointed ears. Although he was on the ground, the birds seemed to have gotten louder. Dosne listened to mother natures alarm clock and stretched his long limbs before emerging from his home under the tree. He sat on his bum and shook his head to rearrange his ears, and the hairs on his head! The sun shined brightly through the dark green canopy, birds could be seen flying all around. Dosne watched them contently as he decided he was ready to make a quick journey to the river down the hill.
