altines are furry mammals native to colder climates. they range from the size of a wolf to the size of a tiger. both males and females have manes, although tines with more testosterone tend to have larger manes. altines are most recognizable by two features: their masks and their tails. all altines have a mask on their face; there has never been and will never be an altine without a mask. altines are also distinguished by their tails. they all have a thick, gaseous tail with a mouth on the end. the tail has its own mind, but it cannot vocalize out loud.
