Ownership of Moonrats has passed on to SukarettoYanagi.
Faces in the Woods wrote:The woods darken and the brush begins to stir. Hares, field mice and rice rats scurry from their dens, and the crackling of twigs and scrabbling against bark can be heard from above. The moon rises overhead and stars can barely be seen past the towering branches. Some of the stars appear much closer than they should be.
They're in the trees. Little white faces that stare back at you, watching your every move, bobbing and swaying in curiosity. Then all at once the little faces begin to bounce between the trees, many disappearing into hidden nooks. A few remain to investigate you, warily shuffling across the lowest branches around you, where they become visible enough to make out the dark little bodies of opossums.
UPCOMING MOONRAT EVENT
Moonrats are very sociable and many of them will choose to follow the first being to interact with them.
Custom spawned moonrats will only follow the being that spawned them, following others only if their spawner decides not to claim them. Please don't offer interactions on other peoples' custom moonrats.
Moonrats are semi-customizable and can be influenced to appear by seeking them out.
If more than one person attempts to interact with an non-custom moonrat, another moonrat will appear and try to take its place.
If you want to spawn a custom moonrat, state its name, a concept for its appearance, and write a set of interactions for them.
It really does help to give a vague idea of what they should look like.
As for the semi- part, please keep in mind that it's very rare to find a moonrat without white or off-white markings on its face and skin.
If you happen to know a moonrat already...
Feel free to post if you're interested in being added to make more moonrats.
Moonrats are thanks to Perocore. Let's link back if you plop your moonrat around on another site.
Spectral purple opossum is thanks to happysparrow. May xe bless your moonrats and haunt your dreams. <3
