I am sorry but they need to PM the archivist and Mintchip the owner, that's how gifting generally works?
Until it grows to the last stage (after we confirm the things XD) you'll be the official owner, but ownership date starts from the time it grows into an adult ^^
The image you're showing isn't enough proof, as they need to contact Mint to let her know they're abandoning or gifting their viscets or what they plan to do with them, if they are quitting.
