I was inspired by one of my favorite songs as a child, and when I looked up the lyrics to confirm I had memorized them correctly, I found out the full song is much more somber than I originally thought. Thus, I wanted to draw a new take on the old tale. (This comic will also serve as a way for me to improve in my art.)

2nd line - me looking unhappy with grey skies behind, him cheering me up
3rd line - our cutie marks together with a heart as a background
4th line - sunshine being covered by clouds

5th and 6th lines - me dreaming
7th and 8th lines - me waking up and crying

9th line - smiles and rainbows
10th line - please say the same
11th line - him leaving for someone else
12th line - me looking angry, font changes to large and frenzied

13th and 14th lines - cutie marks with hearts and rainbows in the background
15th line - him with someone else (anonymous pony, grey/black/white)
16th line - white clouds with cracks running down the middles with white noise in the background and as the cracks

17th and 18th lines - me waking up sad, alone in the dark
19th line - me with a wary smile on my face with him sheepishly coming back
20th line - "It's fine. It was my fault, anyways."

21st line - Memory of me laughing; font changes color and becomes thicker - has quotation marks around it, as if someone were speaking
22nd line - Grey, rainy skies; areal shot of a green grassy hill with little dots representing ponies visiting various gravestones
23rd line - Teardrops and rain on a framed photograph of me and him; background is the same grassy hill as previous page
24th line - My cutie mark with a grey background, his with a darker grey background.
