Ceverian Hell Hounds are specifically bred as war dogs, but they are also used as hunting dogs for large dangerous game and gaurd dogs. They are large, protective, intelligent, and hard to take down. They are accustomed to colder climates, as the Ceverains live in the north and typically live underground in the mountain caverns, so they have thicker fur. They also have extended, sharper claws that help with scaling the trecherous terrain in the mountains.

Theyre lifespan averages at 20 years, but can vary depending on the dogs occupation. Puppies are considered adults once they reach 2 years of age.

Their size averages around 3-4 feet at the shoulder, sometimes larger.

Typically these dogs pelts range in greys and blacks (sometimes browns), and are rarely pure white. It is not uncommon for them to have brindling and 'snow capping'. Their fur color and patterns help them hide in the bleak grey moutntians and snow, making them seem more like rocks than living animals. Their eyes are typically dull colors usually greys and blues.

Litters average around 8-10 pups, but there have been cases of 14 or more pups. Females will only produce a litter once every two years, and are never bred after 12 yrs of age (mid life).

Ok I have a little question for anyone looking at this species...

Keeping in mind the species would likely have a lot of high ristrictions and limitations, and wouldnt have a lot of activity, do you think I should make a few adoptables out of them or possibly a similar breed?
