Firey Birdo

Postby fuiuki » Tue Jan 17, 2017 7:48 am

So uh, this is my first ever of anything using the Oekaki... but this parrot colour-in was too cute to resist! There may yet be hope for me to learn how to use the Oekaki...

So, suggestions on what to do with birdie? :3

How do you edit settings for a drawing? ;3;

I'm honored you used my lines for your first Oekaki!! <3 The detailing you did with the orange on the red is pure genius. My favorite thing to do to finish off my drawings is changing the color of the actual lines using the lock alpha feature. ;D

Which settings are you wanting to change for the drawing, maybe I can help?

I have no idea what lock alpha DOES, could you explain it perhaps? :3

EDIT: I think I've figured it out... it does look better now, hehe.

And, well.. I'm guessing it should be possible to add who can edit it and not? I'm not entirely sure what is even possible to do with this, I'm just a really confused bee right now ^_^'

I'm very glad you liked the bird though! I'm a big fan of fire stuff, so of course I had to make a firey bird when I found the spray tool, haha.

Oh! Well, since I'm in no way the best at explaining things, I went ahead and found some guides I think are pretty great. This one specifically will help with understanding the lock alpha feature. :D This is a very good general Oekaki guide, and this has all the answers to frequent Oekaki questions. ^^

As for who can edit, right now you have it posted in the Editable section (happens to the best of us), so anyone can go in and color it from your post. Usually colored editables go into the Colored-In Oekaki board. A mod would be glad to move it for you. Otherwise, there will be a box above your initial post, below your actual Oekaki, where you can type in the usernames of people you wish to grant access to "color in" your post. c:

Thank you so much, I'll definitely go check the guides out!

Oh man, little embarrassing... How do you think I could go about getting a mod to move it? I uh, I don't want to do it wrong is all, hah...

No worries! You can Private Message an Oekaki Mod, or you can use the report option on your post, I believe. :3

I really hope I don't get a warning for using the report button like this, hah... Anyway, thank you for the help! And for making such a great bird editable too, haha.
