Please Read The Rules Carefully
Hello all! I am looking to hopefully find some help with my new species, Candy Raptors! I am looking for designers eager to both create quality designs and learn how to better their design and art skills.
What I Expect From You
I'm looking to see at least three entries from you:
-- One with no edits other than hair edits (optional)
-- One with at least two of my premade edits.
-- One more entry, with or without edits.
You may make more entries as you see fit, but please at least make the minimum of these.
PLEASE write "FAKE" somewhere on the picture so that people who like Candy Raptors won't be deceived.
If you win, you may keep ONE of the raptors, so long as it does not have a Very Rare edit on it. Keep this in mind.
Additionally, if you win, you will be put on as an artist and allowed to create adoptables.
If you do not take critique / criticism well, enter with caution. I like to give everyone a fair shot at improving themselves, so I will be providing critique and feedback on works to hopefully help you improve! If this might discourage you, let me know. If you take my tips and edit them, it will improve your chances of being accepted.
Guidelines and Tips
If using any edits, you will have to erase lineart and adjust the base color layer accordingly.
If, for some reason, you need to change the lineart, please make sure to keep it two pixels or thinner to keep the lines looking crisp.
Take your time.
Drawing inspiration from others isn't a bad thing!
No coloring your OC's on my lines!
You are allowed to use any rarity of edit.
Covers aren't needed, but encouraged.
Staff Artist Rules:
You are allowed to make some of your own custom edits if you message me about it first.
You are expected to make at least two adoptables a week.
You may not sell any Candy Raptors for pets or C$ until you have made a significant amount of adoptables. (The number is subject to change)
You may only do rare and very rare edits with permission from me.
You are granted periodic custom slots that you can fulfill yourself, including one rare edit.
Customs that you have made using your artist position are not allowed to be gifted or traded, but can be readopted under my wing.
If something happens and you can't make adoptables for a while, tell me. You won't lose your position - but some of your rights will be suspended (such as the periodic custom slots) until you are active again.
