He's also blind. His blindness is not genetic, but rather something he acquired. It's from an alkali burn that he got in the fun chemistry field which is why u kids gotta wear safety goggles. I'm still playing around with the details on how it happened and w/e! I only got the idea today, so I still need time develop this idea and his character more,,
