Altair Izar #2 | Australia Mate

Postby WatermelonBear » Fri Sep 30, 2016 12:45 am

What is an Altair Izar? wrote:The Altair Izar is a species similar to the modern day gryphon. There sheer size, large wings and powerful sharp talons make the Altair Izar one of the most dangerous animals on the planet. Over the last few centuries these large creatures have been mysteriously disappearing from all around the globe, now only a few hundred remain. Males can be identified with their large fluffy manes while females have ruffs much like the modern day tiger. The colour of the species vary though out the globe, often taking the feather colours of the native bird species, they can have markings similar to domestic cats and can sometimes be entirely one colour. These cats are now being domesticated around the globe and make excellent companions if trained right. Hopefully these efforts to try domesticate the species can help the species numbers.

This little Aussie girl was found deep in the eucalyptus forests. She was trapped in between the branches of a tree unable to escape. She was weak and dehydrated and one of her wings was badly damaged. We helped her escape the tree but she was so weak she didn't and couldn't run away. She was brought into the center and her wing was put in a brace and left to heal. As she started to settle in her friendly side came out, she was a nice and playful cat that loved lots of affection and kangaroo meat. Her wing had finally healed but her wing would never be strong enough for her to be able to live in the wild again. The centre had two choices, keep her at the center forever or maybe just maybe give her a chance to be trained and live with a normal everyday civilian...

Here is the first ever Adoptable Izar!
To win this gal tell me about the process of her wing healing.

Good questions to ask and answer:
- How did she feel when she first arrived at the center?
- How did she cope with having a sling on her wing?
- How did she feel with being restrained in a enclosure at the shelter?
- Was she sleepy, scared, angry, stressed, happy, etc.?
- How did she fell not being able to fly?
- How did she react to her carers?
- Did she like her new diet of fruit and Kangaroo meat?

I just can't pass this up. AUSTRALIA IS WHERE I LIVE LOL

Izars name: Lamington
How did she recover and react to her new 'home': Lamington did not recover well. The diet of Australia for her is harsh, adapting is harder. She can't seem to get a grip on the heat, the terrible heat. The sling made it worse. Lamington hated having her wing unusable. She also hated being indoors. This stressed her out. This stopped her wing from healing. However, Lamington found something she loved most. Swimming. At Australia there is Fantasic beaches. She swam and she adapted, bearing the heat.

Hi There! I'm Chico_Mistpool, otherwise known as Mist! I am a horse lover through and through. I currently have two species I am working on for adopts, Sea Kings and Hippocampi of the Pacific Sea. The links should be to the right of this. I love speaking to new people so feel free to PM me. I'm not really into the pets side of things anymore, but I still trade and collect them so just trade away! On the right, I will be linking important links to me and some advertising. Thanks for reading!
