Name:Shanqa Shajara
Personality:Shajara is very quiet and calm. They are generally protective, and almost motherly to some. They are patient, difficult to anger, and quick to forgive. They are always there to listen to whatever others have to tell them, and will do their best to help others through tough situations. Many people seek them out for advice or wisdom on all sorts of topics. Shajara is a lone wanderer it seems, and is only in the same place until they are no longer needed there, then they move on to their next destination. It is rumored that they are immortal and have been around as long as the Earth has existed, though if this is true or not is still uncertain as this is one question they have not yet given the answer to. They are very mysterious, and there are even some who believe them to be a god.
What do you like about nature?:I've always liked animals, and I used to be obsessed with horses. Not so much anymore though. I've always loved hiking in the forest or in the mountains, if only because it's nice to get away from the city or from home for a while, not to mention how spectacular the mountain views are and how peaceful the forests usually are. There's a couple of lakes near where I live, and in the summer we often go swimming there as opposed to any pools. I also like just sitting on the shore and watching the water, though that goes for any bodies of water really. I've always loved watching the sunset, just because of how colorful and spectacular it is. We have an especially good view of it out where we live. However, my favorite thing is star gazing, and I'll often stay up until 11 to 12 just watching the stars. There's not too much light pollution out where we are, and on a good night it's even possible to see the faint line of the Milky Way, and it's also not uncommon to spot a shooting star or two.
Other:- Shajara is agender, though doesn't mind what pronouns you call them by.
- Even though their eyes are always closed, they can still 'see' somehow through some sort of sixth sense.
- The tree on their back is very much alive and growing.
- Many find Shajara's voice very soothing to listen to, and their voice has a sort of melodious quality to it.
-- They also have an excellent singing voice.
- It is not uncommon for Shajara to be seen with one or more birds around them.
- There are some people who worship Shajara like a god.
-- There are some places where some people have come together and established a sort of religion / code of conduct based on advice Shajara has given.
- After some time, it seemed like Shajara disappeared and no one knew what had happened to them.
-- There were many different theories as to what fate had befallen them, though some whisper that Shajara was very old, and that in their last few days they found their way to a secluded little place, a small hill surrounded by mountains overlooking a small valley and with a beautiful view of the sunset, and the only way into this place was through a tunnel through the mountains, though the entrance to the cave is very well hidden. The tree on their back took root in the ground, and when Shajara's body died, their conscience was transferred to the tree and their body was used for nutrients for the tree. It is said that the tree seems to emanate a feeling of peace, protection, and safety, and if you listen very closely when the wind blows through the branches, the rustling of the leaves almost sounds like Shajara's whispering.
-- Many believed the valley to be a legend, a myth. However, after many, many years had passed, one person found it. To this day, only two people know of the valley's whereabouts, though they do not yet know of its significance.
-- The death of Shajara's body is not the only strange floral phenomenon to occur in this valley. In years to come, the valley will also become the home of a glowing sky blue flower after the death of the partner of the one who discovered the valley.
