Dino dogs are prehistoric creatures that went extinct for a long period of time. They suddenly came back to life, their species now crawling throughout the world. Dino dogs are canine-like creatures. Their body is one of a canines but they have dinosaur feautures too. On their back are plates that extend to the tip of their tail. Sometimes they are long, short, webbed, or spiked. Most have a nose horn and small spikes on its face. The also have spikes on their legs, theres commonly two spikes but their can be many more in different shapes and sizes. Lots of dino dogs have a bracelet, its just something fun they made. It turned out to be a trendy look for them. On the bracelets are real bones. Sometimes they can also put valuable things to them on it. Or just things they find under the couch or in the forest. Dino dogs' tails are extremely long, when extended all the way, almost their whole body length. Their ears are very tall too for really good hearing. Lastly they have sharp top and bottom fangs, but sharper than a canines.

Dino dogs' habitats are all over the world. Deserts, forests, fields, your backyard. Anywhere that can support life. A Dino Dogs diet includes meat and plants. Most are omnivores. Though some can by vegetarians or carnivores. Careful though! Chocolate and raspberries are severely toxic to Dino Dogs. Now that thats out of the way, their pelts and spikes come in millions of colors! The only colors they don't come in are neon. And Dino Dogs see neon colors as blinding, head aching colors.

Common- Custom charms, no charm bracelet, custom spikes around eyes & paws, custom ears, clawless
Uncommon- Long fur/short fur, sclera color, hair above jawline, custom tail, mane, custom plates, horns, heterochromatic eyes
Rare- Extra eyes, extra ears, two or less extra limbs, two tails, small wings, disorders (that impacts appearance), long hair below jawline, a missing limb, webbed plates, blind, deaf, bracelet with no charms
Very Rare- Large wings, three+ tails, three+ extra limbs, has a pet, more than one missing limb, scales, feathers, pps
Legendary- Extra heads, mutations that require changing the lines almost completely, magical abilities, headless
Custom- Only common or uncommon unless given special permission

[Common & Uncommon is normal, rare is every 20 adopts, very rare is every 100 adopts, legendary is event only]

No selling or trading your Dino Dogs, gifting them is completely fine!
If you don't want a Dino Dog anymore, either you or I can put them up for readoption.

since i (and probably you guys) always forget my (your) job in this species, here is a list of things i (you) need to do

owner: stay in charge on store and keep track of orders, make customs, make adopts, make sure everything is going smoothly, answer questions, make sure everyone knows their job

archivist: keep track of adopts, including customs and pups

mods - check all threads daily and end any conflict or answer questions, report spam and rude comments

artists - make adopts at least every two weeks, do custom requests, PM owner if someone earned dino teeth from almost winning a competition or putting lots of effort into winning it but didn't (see shop page for more info), go through the artist search and put lovely comments on peoples entries :^), and PM me for questions or if you are going on vacation/hiatus

guest artist - make as many adopts for two weeks, pretty much it

breeders - breed dino dogs, answer nursery questions, may serve as an artist for a certain amount of time if many artists are gone/not making adopts, check bank to make sure people who request own the sufficient amount of breeding bones
