also known as the mouse pokemon, pikachu is a very well known electric pokemon. pikachu evolves from pichu only by friendship and can evolve into raichu if exposed to a thunderstone. pikachus are very intelligent and can store electricity in their red cheek pouches. the discharge from the pouches can equal the strength of a lightning bolt. it can even use it's electric shock to recharge a weakened fellow pikachu.
the shiny version of pikachu can be either a darker yellow version of the original or it can be darker and their tail can be heart-shaped at the end.
