Delta Velorum Foxes are tall looking foxes that are only located on the remote planet of Delta Velorum.

Standing between 2 - 2 1/2 feet at the should, Delta Velorum Foxes are very tall in appearance compared to Red Foxes on Earth. They tend to be long legged in appearance and are well known for their endurance and agility. Males tend to be more muscular then females while female are more slender and elegant in appearance. A Delta Foxes fur tends to be very soft and short, and come in a wide variety of natural colors. It is not uncommon to see them in roans and dun colors similar to horses and are commonly seen in cat colors and patterns as well (such as calico, tabby, bengal markings ect). However the combination of colors and patterns are limitless, and each Delta Velorum Fox is different from the next. No two are ever the same in looks. Delta Velorum Foxes can come in any eye color and combination - no matter if it's natural or unnatural. A fox with two or more eye colors (known as Heterochromia) is uncommon but not unheard of.

Tallis has an insatiable thirst for knowledge. He needs to know everything, not out of curiosity but more out of nosiness and loneliness, like a strange addiction. However, he only wishes to know about other people and their experiences; living vicariously through others. Because of this, he's the best person to come to for information, and he even knows about the inside gossip from other clans. Notwithstanding, Tallis has little to nothing to share about himself as if you ask him what he's been doing lately, he'll tell you about the newest scandal he's found.
Due to his eagerness for stories, he makes a great listener, and will sit and listen for as long as the other person needs. Although, if you care about your conversation being repeated, then he is the worst person to talk to.

Checkpoint One:

After weeks of preparation and anticipation, the time has come to begin your journey! You gather your needed supplies and head out at early in the morning. You notice other foxes staying behind saying their goodbyes to friends, buying items from a rather grumpy looking fox, while other sprint ahead of you to get to the first checkpoint as quickly as possible. You pay no mind to them, each have their own plans in mind for the trip.

The day is sunny and pleasant, and time seems to fly as you reach the first checkpoint. When you reach the checkpoint you notice the trail splits. Both seem to be rather mountainous with thick forest ahead and both trails have equal opportunities. The sun is setting fast and the smell of rain is in the air, bad weather is on the way for the next checkpoint. Make camp, and choose your path in the morning. It will take you all day and arrive at the next checkpoint sometime in the middle of the night.

Tallis watched the foxes carefully, studying their every move, ears perked, listening to any scrap of conversation. Maybe one of them would know the best path to take? And, even if he didn't find anything out, eavesdropping usually generated a story or two that he could share. In the corner, he spied two foxes talking heatedly, and so he crept closer to listen to their conversation. Eventually, they came to a conclusion; the left path, and so, after waiting for them to disappear further into the trail, he followed suite.

You have reached the second checkpoint in the middle of the night. As you arrived thunder could be heard in the distance and it slowly begins to rain. But your slow drizzle quick turns to a heavy downpour that seems to have no end. Thunder and lightning pound around the area and the temperature is turning cold. Illuminated only by a few lightning flashes you see a small path that splits from the main trail. You can explore it and see where it leads, but you have no idea what maybe at the end.

[] Ignore the side path and continue to the next checkpoint.
