Northern Lantern Dragons are mystical and ancient creators that were thought to of gone extinct at one point. they are very soft fluffy creators that enjoy being active and can adapt to most any climate. these dragons are very friendly and trusting, and get alone with each other quite well and live in rather big packs. their shining stone like plates on their sides are what most first notice; like scales on a fish they catch sunlight and sparkle and even seem to glow in the night.

Northern Lantern Dragons are roughly the size of sheep when fully grown. They are very fluffy creators; with soft cotton like fur on their chest and fur that runs down their backs, with a cute puff of fur at the tip of their tails. their long ears help keep them cool with all that fur they have and are great for hearing up to a mile away. NLDs have three horns on their head; one large unicorn like horn and two small horns below it. The shimmering plates on their sides are solid like stone and will reflect light during the day and glow at night; this makes it easy for them to see in the dark or find each other in storms.

Lantern Dragons live in packs of up to 12; this may be one big family or made up of mulitable families but it is unlikely to see these dragons living on their own or in very small groups.

Northern Lantern Dragons will eat just about anything. their stomachs have developed over generations to digest almost anything. however they favorite types of food include fruits and sweets.

Northern Lantern Dragons will mate for life; picking just one to spend the rest of their life with. NLDs can breed up to three times within their life and can have up to three eggs with each litter. they will normally rip out chunks of fur for their nests to keep their eggs warm and will carry young around in its pouch after the eggs hatch.
