O-kay, trying to hold in excitement... A little bit about me and some design examples I suppose?


About Me
I'm a student with a lot of free time on my hands after-school, but I have big tests coming up that I'm not too stressed for. I love cats, video games, and I like having time to myself sometimes. I get really anxious, my mood can change at the drop of a hat, and I tend to take certain things personally. I take a while to heal, from wounds physical and mental, and I like to write poems and am currently working on a few books in which I am currently stuck on. As of June 2nd, I will have been on CS for one whole year. I love music, basically all sorts, and like to listen to it while drawing and designing. I am a huge Warriors fan and adore earthy, wilderness designs. I also love purple, and sunsets. I also ramble. A lot. And I mean that.

Why I Want To Be An Artist
For one thing, I have too much time and not enough things. Another thing, I need more responsibility. I just don't have nearly enough. I love doing designs, and it really boosts my mood when somebody compliments me, sometimes for up to a week I'll feel happy. That would be good for me, seeing as I could use more joy, but who couldn't? I'm good at drawing inspiration for things (in all but writing, unless you count the poems I've written for each star ) and could come up with a lot of designs and ways to win them. I love the species, even though I haven't been with them for too too long, and I love the prospect of being an artist, for anything.

What Would I Provide As An Artist
Design-wise, a lot of sunrise/sunset/sky/star designs, a lot of earthy/water/airy designs, and a few abstract. I would try to provide interesting and fresh ways to win them, and I would try to make a design a week at least, and three a day at most. I would try to not do uncommon/rare edits that much, and would probably ask the first few times, even for uncommon, but I would try to make even common ones unique and colourful.

Experience
Seeing as I have long lost the links, I cannot provide them, but I can talk about them. I have run a few breeding shops, my most recent one being right here, and quite enjoy it. In terms of being on top of things and keeping things in check, I have run a Warriors role-play that ran for several months until school started again and people kinda forgot about it. So I guess I don't have as many examples as others, but I did draw a lot of experience from each. Oh! And I also run a Warriors naming/creation guide, which I constantly update.

Design Examples
I'm not going to post only best. I will also post the times I have failed, or made ones only half-good. I know I'm not perfect and don't want to make myself bigger than I am. The lines are not mine unless specified, as I can't draw cats or dogs (excluding lineart edits). Also, a few are breedings because why not

Squeeeeee so excited! Glad there's a whole month for the competition, because I'm still not sure what designs exactly I'll do. But I'm just so excited! It ends really close to my birthday, which is May 7th, and I'm hoping that I'll win.
