Xiuhus are relatively small creatures which resembled an odd cross between a dog and a tiger, with a scorpion's stinger. They bear large paws, fluffy manes, and a rope necklace with a mysterious orb attached. These creatures are found by being summoned from someone's dream. The process takes a while, but with patience, you'll be awarded with a Xiuhu of your own!

- First, you catch a glimpse of it in a dream.
- The next night or a few nights later, you'll get to get a good look at it.
- The next night or a few nights later, it will approach you. Your whole dream will be interacting with it, getting to know it.
- You will not see it again in a dream unless you have the following beneath your pillow ...
xxx a dreamcatcher, a rock, and a certain object that the xiuhu likes, and an offering of any food or drink
- The Xiuhu is now your friend! the next night, you won't see it in your dream, but when you wake up, you'll find it nestled at your side.
