Royal Equines, or REs are a special draft mix breed created in the 1300's. They are said to be crossed
with a Perchon stallion and a Thoroughbred/Frisian mare, and other breeds that are unknown at this time. They were used as all-around horses,
favored mostly in long distance packing, carriage pulling and used in battle. Around mid 1400's the breed disappeared, but through
research and selective breeding, it's been brought back to us!

REs mares stand about 15.2 to 16.3 hands tall, while stallions stand about 15.3 to 17 hands tall. Many are under and below,
but these are general heights. REs come in call horse colors, but rare colors include appaloosas, roans, paints and albinos.
They have long wavy manes and tails, and sometimes their manes are roached to show off their Thoroughbred-like necks.
REs are heavy set in the front, with powerful but thin back legs and neck, with are large, squared head. They have small,
sturdy hooves to hold their weight, which can be from 1,100-1,900 lbs, though some are found to be lighter and heavier.

REs can participate in any sport, from polo to cross-country, dressage to cattle cutting. They move elegantly and are very docile,
calm creatures, gentle giants as most draft breeds are. Most are willing learners and pleasers, and show great happiness in their
work, let alone just being around their owner. They aren't a one person type of breed, and appreciate the company of other
horses, ranch animals and humans.

REs are classified into 3 groups: Crown, Sword or Sun. Sun REs are common horses, either that be through color and easier disciplines/showings (halter shows, modeling ect). Sword REs are more uncommon, for they are ranked as athletes through harder disciplines and color (show jumping, cross-country, endurance ect.) Crown REs are the rarest, for they are prized for their coats, and do not show except for halter classes. Crown REs only have 4 breeding spots, while Sword and Sun have 10.

2. You can own as many REs as you want, but must wait 3 days between each adoption.

3. Do not ask to be staff, wait until forms are open then pm me forms.

4. Do not ask for customs unless an artist has asked for requests.

5. Staff can have 2 customs each month, adopters can only have 1.

6. Do not trade/sell REs for any species, or for other REs. If you'd like to give your RE back for re-adoption, pm the artist.

7. Do not spam thread with bumps. I will do that and post updates/events.

8. Use appropriate language, and be respectful to everybody.

9. Adopted REs have a halter, while ones needing homes don't.
