What is "the Microbe Lab"?
The Microbe Lab is, well, a lab! A secret group of scientists have done genetic engineering on microscopic organisms... or parts of organisms, to say the least! They can be anything from a skin cell to the common cold! These Microbes are highly intelligent beings and they all are completely unique. There are never two microbes that look like! Some even have interesting designs and colors. They're actually highly intelligent beings. These Microbes are sexless, but that doesn't mean they're genderless! Microbes can be any gender, binary or nonbinary -- it doesn't matter! If you're wondering about how they reproduce... well, it's all in the magic of completely made up science! This "magic" is usually in the hands of the scientists and researches working at the Microbe Labs.

What's this "Artist Competition" about?
Since we didn't seem to be getting that many entries for scientists, I decided it would be best to host a contest. I would like to actually see how you draw Microbes before you're actually an artist! Plus, you get a few extra things that wouldn't be provided in just applications. Please note that there is a bit of criteria to be followed! First off, you must know that EACH Microbe has it's own unique lines and design. Please don't just copy and paste the same Microbe over and over again and just change the design. No! That's why the Microbe Lab is unique -- each are lined carefully and given their own unique design. Also, you must know a bit about Microbe-anatomy! There are A LOT of microscopic organisms out there that you can base Microbes off of. You can use Google or a search engine, of course. Each Microbe should be given a unique and interesting expression as well!You will have to fill out the application as well that should be posted on the same page as the entry.
I would like to hire at least 5 scientists and a couple other intern scientists!

Rules //
• You may not claim the Microbes as your own, even if you do not win. If you do become an scientist/intern scientist, you may release the batches on the main thread for others to adopt.
• Please read the reminders on the Oekaki file before starting!
• You MUST turn on the "fake" layer on the Oekaki file so that people know that is not a real Microbe batch.
• You may not make any Microbes greater than the rarity of rare. Please keep the rares to a minimum, though! You should only release maybe 1 or 2 rares, henceforth why they're called "rare". If you are unsure of rarities, please go here.
• There should be at least 8 Microbes in a batch.
• Please don't do more than 5 batches!
• No spamming.
• Please follow all CS rules!
• Don't complain if you don't win! I apologize if you do not, but there can only be so many artists.
• Follow all general rules.
• Have any questions? Please PM me!
