Originally from a sketch I asked for from Twig, this species is part bird/macaw and part dragon.
ABOUT THE SPECIES:
TropicWings are, hence their name, winged dragons that exist in tropical environments. Due to all the rain they have in those locations, their feathers are waterproof, much like waterfowl. Their wings are delicately built and not made for traveling long distances, so they usually stay in the same area with a small harem. They can glide very well with their wings, though mostly only gliding, for they have thin wings. They are usually very colourful for either gender. Since they don't fly everywhere, they have great speed when running, and can cover a great amount of terrain within a few minutes. They can also dodge around, trees when running, with ease, though they can still slow them down.
