Stranos is both singular and plural
Stranos are a large feline species that trace back to ancient Rome. Strano, or Strange in Italian, was given to them by the Romans because of how odd they looked! The were originally called Strano Besites (Strange Beasts), but that was too long so they shortened it. Measured in Hands like equines (4" to a hand), they were used as mounts for their considerable size and strong builds. Stranos are Omnivores, and eat a mixture of poultry and fruits as their main diet.
Appearance
(For now, only basic Stranos will be made)
Stranos are very feline-esk. Their neck and chest grow a thick mane to protect the delicate skin from harsh sunlight. the hair is loose and light, and the rest of their body is covered in a thin, coarse fur similar to Boxer dogs.
Stranos can be born with three different lengths of tails: Breve (.5 times body length), Medio (body length), and Lungo (1.5 times body length). All three are equally as common, and is just a luck of the draw. Parents tend to pass on their lengths to their children. Alto (2+ times body length) are very, very rare, with a 1 in 200 chance of one appearing. It is impossible to have no tail.
The crowns are almost always small and 5-pointed. The floating gems above them come in three variations. These variations are the three different clans. All are equally as common, and clans only matter if there are clan specific events. If two parents come from two different clans, the child has a 45% chance of one, 45% chance of the other, and a 10% chance of mixed
Circle: Cerchio clan
Square: Piazza clan
Diamond: Diamante Clan
The stone on their forehead is what suspends the crown. The stone can be any color, and uncommonly glows.
All Stranos have the color #5C3772 somewhere on them (color of the default color palette). It can be their fur color, or a small dot, but all have something
