- That's right, homies, we're looking for artists! Tuls and I can't hold up the fort alone.
Rules
1) Custom-made linearts, obviously. I'm mostly judging on skills with humans (#thestruggle), so you don't need to do unique poses or anything. But, this doesn't mean you be lazy with the Shadow, either. I need to see effort!
2) You must post a cover/masterpost for all your entries.
3) Up to 3 entries. One must be a plain ol' human, but unique enough to be an adopt, y'know? The other two can have special edits and such.
4) Read all Staff Rules.
5) Don't steal other people's designs, whether they're for this very competition, on another website, etc. Be 100% original. But it's fine if you look up clothing/hair ideas, as long as they're not super specific to one character (ex: ✔ vs. ✘)
6) If you're accepted as an artist, the designs you create for the contest may later be posted for actual adopts, or as eventual custom(s).
7) It is unlikely I will be accepting ghost artists, with a few exeptions. Sorry!
8) Don't forget these are Ball Jointed Dolls! I'll be the first to admit that it's very easy to forget the ball joints and such.
9) I'm hesitant about it, but yes, you may use other programs to make your art (like Sai), but the same rules apply; no bases or anything, completely custom-made art for all entries (and adopts, if you're hired), and don't forget about the Shadow. Here's the bg others will be using.
Feel free to make entries based on any of the suggestions on the Suggestion Board (linked above).
End date; June 15th
However, I will be judging entries for the full duration of that time. Meaning, the faster you give me your final products, the faster you'll know if you're hired. It could only take your first entry, or it may take all three of your entires to woo me. Either way, thanks to everyone for participating! I'll comment on pieces I like, too, so other browsing artists can get an idea of what they should focus on.
