Alright so here's the deal, I've reopened one of my oldest adoptable species and I'm seriously unhappy with the lineart because of how bad I am at drawing on oekaki. I would really like to upgrade them to a better, more professional lineart to help get them the attention I feel they deserve. Therefore, I'm opening this lineart competition in hopes of finding something that suits my needs better.
What I'm looking for:
- -1 adult lineart
-1 cub lineart
-1 teen lineart (bonus* not necessary to win but would be super nice if included)
- Lock alpha enabled
- Palette spots
-Male/Female signs
- Possible block shading (Bonus* not necessary to win)
Prizes:
1st place- Your choice of Green toxic OR Pink Sorbet OR Blue and Pink Balloon dogs
2nd place- Black Advent
3rd place- Bernese Mountain Dog
Rules:
- 1. No Art theft
2. Please be respectful of others
3. You may not keep your entry if you do not win since the species belongs to me
4. Do not spam
5. Please follow the indicated Zver anatomy when making your entry
So What are you Drawing?
This is my sad attempt at drawing a zver on the oekaki. It is fairly basic, but this is what you'll be drawing. Please review details below where you'll also find more images to use
- -Head and neck: similar in shape to a coyote, neck is generally fairly fluffy compared to the rest of the body
-Ears: ALWAYS appear to be laying back. They very very seldom will perk their ears straight up but this is highly uncomfortable for them so it is not standard. They are long and pointed. The length in the provided references is correct, please stick to that length.
-Body: Built like a cougar/mountain lion. Their fur is fairly short and sleek from their shoulders to the tip of their tail. They are not fluffy beasts
-Paws: Three-toed paws. Cougar-like
-Eyes: Compound eyes, no visible pupil. Sensors just in front of them to detect scents Sensors are THE most important part of the face. Without these, your entry is NOT a Zver.
-Muzzle: Somewhat dragon-like in that there is no canine/feline like nose. Nostrils are simply two small-ish slits. Also, please note the lines on the muzzle in the offered references are markings on my character, not part of the species itself
Cubs are similar in all ways except that they are fuzzier(think baby cougar mixed with baby coyote) and their ears are large compared to their body
