Purgo's Personality: Granny Appleby has lived for a long time, and few things faze her. She does not do many things anymore and leaves the managing of the garage to her grandson Brass. However, this was not the case, as a purgonine living in such harsh conditions could not get that old without some trouble, especially since she has a piece of cloth that is in prime condition.Her fur, once bright and shiny, has lost its colour, and her body has several scars and tattoo's, memento's from her turbulent past. Although her favourite activity is baking apple-flavoured cookies and babysitting children, like granny's are stereotypically said to like, she does not have a matching personality. Granny was once known as 'Riker' a fearsome rebel leader, who was hated by police and other illegal factions alike, because she would always stand in their way to get what she wanted and to feed the people around her. The neighbourhood Granny now lives in was once very poor, and she endeavoured to do something about it. These experiences caused Granny to be kind to her own but ruthless to others. She was and is a rebel who does not care about others' opinions. Once passionate ,impulsive, and idealistic age has tempered her passionate personality, but do not touch those under her care or you will see her wrath. Granny is very social and can keep her head cool under huge pressure. Due to this she became the leader of the rebels at a young age and has such an authority that no one dares to cross her. She has a soft spot for children, and often takes orphans in to care for them. Most of the purgo's who work with her are those she rescued, and even though she has already reached a high age, she will fight to the death to defend them.
