Hello fellow Chickensmoothians! c:
I'm gonna be looking for some artists that may be able to assist me with my newest species, Snow Lions (Snowies).
General Rules -
If you make more than one entry, which is preferred, please make a cover.
If you win, you may put your snowies for adoption, and maybe even keep one of the designs for yourself.
No whining, begging, or bribing.
I will try and comment on any and all entrees entered. :3
Species Rules -
Snow lions (snowies) come in a vast amount of colors, however ALL of them must be natural, except for the very rare "maltese" snowy.
Domesticated snowies (those that are bred) are more likely to have more markings and color varieties than those you would find in the wild (those that are for adoption) (ex., black, grey, and even the uncommon tabby markings. Domesticated snowies are also more prone to mutations.
The second layer of fur found on the cheeks is almost ALWAYS a lighter color than the base fur.
Every snowies' eyes has three parts - the sclera, the iris, and the pupil. Pupils are always black, however the sclera and the iris may come in any colors EXCEPT pink, purple, red, black, grey, and white.
Manes can have up to three different colors in them (the front, the base, and tips.)
Cubs are almost ALWAYS pale in color, and covered in spots. As they mature, their pelts grow darker and they usually lose their spots.
