Augh, went into entries, but I suppose the lines were created for a contest in the first place, but I ended up creating a character with very much personal meaning to me and I am afraid it will be impossible to part with him..Raven, I'll make another entry for you when I'm not a tear soaked mess.

Hurt On The Horizon, my first cat Character. He put his feather on his head for one shot XD

Some short points of meaning-

Feather: This is the most important part of this character to me, the symbol for the memory, and the freedom, in the death of my best friend, Shadow.

Markings- Long story..but, I'll say it has a lot to do with Shadow and the way I feel right now.

Note...Shadow died years ago, don't worry about it. It's still hard, and I cry everyday, but don't waste your time on it.

If she chooses this I'll make a few changes to him and then he will be okay for someone else.

But, Shadow was my best friend, and the love of my life. He was a rescued starling who also rescued me in more ways than one, but he ended up dying a terrible death because of my mother. I've hated her since. He was everything I could have asked for in my life, I finally had a friend who loved me as I loved him, he talked to me, and he wore a harness so I could take him places on my shoulder. He loved to ride my bike. Since he could not fly, the wind and being up high was the best thing in the world to him, and he would open his wings and flap and watch everything go by. He ate off of my plate, all of my friends loved him and let him come over with me, even the parents did. We were inseperable.

/ramble But anyway, it was very, very hard to loose him and even this long after, I still cry for him.
