rough story; renee was born with not much an incline to music. her parents forced her to play the violin throughout her early childhood, and she quit when she was about 11. once she discovered the guitar, she immediately fell in love and begged her parents to get her one and to take lessons. she was no prodigy, but she enjoyed it. when she was 14, she started voice lessons. she became an acclaimed singer in her state and soon, joined a band. her band traveled everywhere and back, playing at shows from the most cockroach-infested dive bars to football stadiums. after performing at many shows and becoming famous, she became a diva. renee knew she was famous, and she thought "if you've got it, then why not flaunt it?" some people bag her on being "cocky," but she just says, "Oh, me? I just love myself!"
