How To: Feliquid Roaning
Preppy and I decided that it was time to open up our artist search!
There is no set end date.
This is an ongoing thing. As we see entries that we like, we will invite you to join us as a guest artist.
Your guest artist term will last two weeks. We will tell you the specific date your term will end.
If we like your designs during your first term, we may invite you to stay for a month instead of two weeks. Again, we will tell you the specific date.
Then, we may decide to promote you to a full artist.
Please do not be upset if you are not chosen to be guest artist or for a promotion.
You will have another chance to apply to show us your new skills after a three month cool down period!
You MUST have read the species information and rules on the main post.
You MUST follow the species information.
You MAY NOT remove the signature or the text that says 'this is not a real feliquid'
Do not make a cover image and put all of your entries under that post. Please post them all separately.
I strongly suggest you read how to make the feliquid roaning when you read the species information. The link is under the image in this post. You may use your own techniques if you don't like mine.
Guest artists may order one free custom from the official artist of their choice, provided that the official artist is willing to take on the order.
Guest Artists:
Ezai (11/11 - 11/25)
Mother~of~Dragons (11/14 - 11/28)
skyyfox (12/29-1/12)
SilverBell90 (12/29-1/12)
K~Dog (12/29-1/12)
Tips:
Use a large airbrush and paint from the topline down. Don't worry about how dark it is because you are working on a separate layer. You will be able to simply adjust the layer opacity.
Specks are done with a small pen with varying opacity and size. Think about the night sky.
If you feel the specks are too pronounced after adjusting layer opacity, cover them with a little bit more airbrush.
