Okay, here's the deal. Darkheart has 3 alternate timelines:
The one where he never dies and stays in Duskclan
The one where he dies and resurrects into Brookclan with his cousin
The one where he dies and stays in the Dark Forest, which is this timeline.
He goes to the Dark Forest because he murders Tulipstorm and then kills himself.
