The story -
It had been a while, and after I got into TF2, I had the idea that I should start a wolf version of it. So naturally my fursona is placed first. She's a bit of a techie, but she's an amazing warrior and she has the advantage of flight. So I stuck her on RED as the soldier, because that fir her best and I prefer the RED team. Then I got thinking. The wolf I placed as Engineer (Chell) seemed more the explosive type than the tech type, so I needed a reason to switch them even if no one knew about it. What happened was one of Chell's turrets, it had been an experiment to see if they could introduce a level four sentry, exploded from some sort of overload. She never specified what kind of overload, but it took out her left eye. Chained was able to "replace" her eye, but she had realized tech wasn't for her, and switched to Demoman, giving Wheatley a run for his money at who was the best Demoman. At a similar time, something similar happened to Portalis. She had been chasing down Dovahkiin, and didn't see the sticky bombs until too late. She had reacted quickly and thrown up one of her wings to block the worst of it, but she wasn't quite fast enough. Her right paw skidded too close, and a shard of shrapnel buried itself in her eye. Her paw had been effectively atomized, and her eye was too damaged. She managed to fire a rocket, and it clipped a crate near Dovahkiin, and a splinter of wood embedded itself in her hip. Chained couldn't repair the damage, so stopped the bleeding and removed her eye, but Portalis refused to go around as a cripple, so she, Chell, and Chained worked on a solution. They eventually came up with a neurosensing, or as Portalis calls it, a Bluetooth eye. Portalis also came up with the paw design. It was wired directly into the bone of her leg and connected to the nerves. She had even coded it to feel pain, heat, cold, water, etc. The artificial paw became known as the Gunslinger, as Portalis had switched to Engineer, and the "mini-sentries" deployed in three seconds, and could be controlled with Wrangler with a devastating effect.
