Return to main Pinna thread

Pinna Information wrote:Pinnas started off as a wolf/fox hybrid, and have evolved over time. Fully grown males are the size of a horse, while fully-grown females are the size of a pony. Pups are born like humans, twins are a rare occurrence, and are about the size of a Husky until they reach adolescence, around age 5, when they begin their growth spurts.Pinnas have long, bilateral stripes, similar to those of a tiger, that help them blend in with their surroundings. Pinnas live in dense forests, typically within the Canadian shield. They have thick fur to shield them from the cold and snow. Pinnas also have glowing antennae that are used for light and to communicate telepathically with other Pinnas.
Pinnas are usually naturally occurring colors, the most common colors being black and gray, followed by palomino, chestnut, bay, red and blonde. White is the rarest color, and cannot be passed down to pups by their parents. Stripes follow the same rarities.

Behavior:
Pinnas live in packs of eight to fifteen. These packs consist of an alpha and beta pair, a healer, warriors, huntresses and pups. The alpha pair will live in a den, whether it is naturally-occurring or dug by other pack members. Though males are larger, the alpha female is dominant. The beta pair often lives with the other pack members, in underground dens. Warriors are males who are trained to battle from young ages. In a pack, there will be anywhere from 4 - 6 huntresses. The alpha and beta male will take these huntresses out once a day. They often target large prey such as deer or moose. Healers are either gender and are responsible for caring for the pack. They use easily found plants and herbs to do so.

Here you can find the next generations of Pinnas - the adorable puppies! To order one, please turn your attention to the main thread.

If you have a Pinna puppy, and have decided that it's time for him of her to be put on the adult lines {after a minimum of 2 weeks from its "birthdate"}, please contact the designer of your puppy. S/he will do it for absolutely free.

Rules:
- Twins are relatively rare. Artists, please ensure that you aren't designing twins every time (;
- If you breed your Pinna, a female, with your friend's male Pinna, you will receive the pup(s). The owner of the female owns the pup(s), although, if you'd like, you may gift it to the male's owner.
-You can either keep your pup, gift it, or put it up for adoption.
- The color white cannot be passed down to pups from their parents. It is the rarest color.
- Blindness & deafness are rare, but not unheard of, at birth. There's always a chance of having a blind or deaf pup when breeding.
