The Ookamishiru are a newly discovered species, which were found swimming along the shores of southern Alaska. they seem to have the general appearance of a canine, yet with a thick layer of waterproof fur covering their body, webbed feet, and their seal-like tail. these creatures tend to live in pack settings, comforting themselves with the presence of others. despite how they seem to prefer being with their pack than anything else, these creatures aren't afraid to hang around with humans every once in a while.

- Do not ask for customs, they are only to be given out when necessary/reserved for staff
- I own the right to add or remove any rules when I find need be

1. Ookas have present a thick, fluffy layer of fur covering their bodies. This is mostly noticeable from their thick neck, fluffy hind legs, and slightly longer fur along the back.

2. Instead of the shorter tails more commonly seen on canines like the wolf or coyote, Ookas have longer tails, which comes to end in a fluke ( tail fin ). This aides the Ooka in swimming, to help propel the creature forward.

3. Like both seals and canines, Ookas have long whiskers to help detect prey while underwater while hunting. They are quite sensitive to small changes in the current, allowing them to pin-point the exact location of prey.

4. Webbed feet are present on all Ookas, which aide in swimming, by propelling the ooka forward with each swipe of the paw.

5. This is where most info on the Ooka will be displayed. Things such as rarity, gender, and colors will be located here.

6.* Ookas are given their rarity based mainly on if they have horns or not, and what type of horns they have. Below is a key that shows how rarities are classified.

Common- Short, long, curled, or no horns
Unommon- Custom horns
Rare- Lineart Edits
Very Rare- Lineart edits with horns
Ultra Rare- Fully custom lines { every 50 }

After adopting an Ooka, the new owner will be given a gif ( pictured to the left ) displaying their ooka. Though you are not required to show off your ooka in your signature/trading rules/etc, it is encouraged. More detailed/longer gifs may come in the near future.

Hello everyone, and welcome to the Ooka grand opening comp! We have decided to host a little advertising competition to start off the opening of our new species.
